Online Practice Sessions

Just One Thing offers short online mindfulness meditation practice sessions. These sessions are intended for those new to mindfulness and for those who would like to support their personal practice by connecting with others.

The sessions will be held on:

Wednesday evenings 7.30 - 8.15 pm

The sessions are all 'drop-ins' and you don’t have to attend each week. They are also completely free, but you may wish to make a donation to your teacher in the spirit of dana / generosity. For information about Dana, please see below.

Once you have registered you will be sent a Zoom link to join the online sessions. Please do not share the link. These sessions are free, however it is important to register so that we can keep you informed of schedule changes and have contact details as part of our safeguarding processes.

Dana

Dana is an ancient Pali word meaning generosity or giving. It is a voluntary expression of appreciation and gratitude. The principle and tradition of Dana has enabled spaces to be provided for the practice of meditation for around 2,500 years.

Dana offers those who value the practice of meditation the opportunity to help in the continuation of its teaching. There is no correct sum to give. The amount depends upon your ability to give and how moved you feel.

Any offering you make supports the ongoing delivery of these mindfulness sessions and the development of future courses and workshops. Your teacher will provide you with details of how you can make a donation, along with the Zoom link for these sessions, so that you can make an offering as and when you feel appropriate.

Thank you for your support.
